It’s so easy to take an amazing friendship/relationship with someone and throw it all away in an instant when we speak and act from an emotional state. Next time we are emotional charged (aka F’ing pissed off!), let’s take 3 breaths and calm down. Let’s think of why we are grateful about this person first and then proceed from that state. Even if we no longer want a relationship with this person, at least, we will communicate what is truly real for us, and give the other person real feedback, not an impulsive and reactive response that we will later regret.
